Shipping & Delivery
1. Order Processing Time
All orders are subject to a processing time before they are handed over to our courier partners.
Readymade Orders: All standard readymade orders are processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days after receiving your order confirmation.
Custom Orders: For custom-designed batik pieces, the production and processing time will be discussed and agreed upon during our WhatsApp consultation. We strive to provide accurate timelines for every unique creation.
Exceptions: Please note that orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) or Sri Lankan public holidays.
2. Domestic Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates (Within Sri Lanka)
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the delivery location and the total weight of your package.
- Standard Delivery (Colombo & Suburbs): 1-2 business days.
- Outstation/Other Provinces: 2-5 business days.
3. International Shipping
We proudly offer international shipping to multiple destinations worldwide, including Asia, Australasia, Europe, and beyond.
Carriers: We use reliable international courier services such as EMS, DHL, FedEx, and Aramex.
Delivery Time: Typically 7 to 21 business days, depending on the destination and customs procedures.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Chethi Batik is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, import duties, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the customer.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS containing your tracking number. You can monitor your delivery's progress on the courierΓÇÖs website.
5. Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Chethi Batik is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you notice an error, contact us immediately via WhatsApp or Email.
6. Damages & Lost Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please take clear photos of the packaging and the item, and contact us within 48 hours at info@chethibatik.lk. We will work with the courier to resolve the issue.
7. Cash on Delivery (COD)
We offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for domestic customers within Sri Lanka. Please have the exact amount ready for the delivery agent.
